JavaScript is the default language of the web. Remote roles range from React dashboards to Node services nobody wants to rewrite.
1 open role
A lot of 'JavaScript' listings are really React or Next.js jobs with TypeScript required in practice. Node backend roles exist but often sit under 'full-stack' titles. If you only want browser work, filter for frontend in the title or stack tags.
Remote JS teams usually expect you to own a feature end to end: PR, review, deploy. CI familiarity helps. So does knowing when not to add another npm dependency.
